Raytheon is committed to our people and our communities in the U.K. We take a strategic approach to corporate social responsibility by focusing on three key areas that are important to the company and our people: maths and science education, armed services and our local communities.
Raytheon focuses on helping spark the next generation of innovation and the workforce of the future by helping students unlock their potential passion for maths and sciences. The company works directly with students through scholarships, and sponsorships, including the United Kingdom Aerospace Youth Rocketry Challenge (UKAYRoC), which is the largest model rocket showcase in the U.K.
Raytheon supports Headstart, which provides students with an opportunity to attend early summer sessions at University, giving them a head start over their peers.
The company also supports a variety of initiatives aimed at supporting, recognising and honouring our troops who protect and serve our country. Additionally, Raytheon believes it is the company’s duty to support the local communities where we live and work.
Through these focused engagements, Raytheon strives for meaningful impact in the community.
