Chief Executive Bob Delorge attended an exclusive industry exhibition on 18 March hosted by the Ministry of Defence as part of National Science & Engineering Week (NSEW).
Held at London’s prestigious Armoury House, the annual event gave Raytheon UK – as part of a select group of industry players – the opportunity to showcase its defence technology and innovation to trade/national media and guest speaker Mr. Peter Luff MP, Minister for Defence Equipment, Support and Technology.
‘Lightening the Load’ was the theme of this year’s event which aimed to present the media with a broad variety of in-service and future military equipment and systems.
Chief Architect Gary Tomlinson led a demonstration of Raytheon’s Clear View™ Security Solutions on the exhibit floor joined by Bob Delorge and three of Raytheon’s graduate engineers – Ashley Tyrer, Jamie Shannon and James Price.
Clear View™ uses open architecture and industry standard interfaces to interconnect various sensors and support systems enabling rapid situational awareness and accurate threat assessment. Bob Delorge had the opportunity to meet and chat with Minister Peter Luff and Rees Ward, Chief Executive Officer of the event co-sponsor ADS, whilst Gary Tomlinson talked them through the capabilities of Clear View™.
