Raytheon remains fully committed to supporting the MOD and delivering training solutions in any capacity required for our Armed Forces, and is currently delivering the Early Training Transformation (ETT) contract to the U.K. Ministry of Defence (MOD).

Raytheon's ETT contract has demonstrated how significant cost savings can be achieved through training transformation. ETT is an 18-month contract that will create a more efficient training curricula for specific training in the Aeronautical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering and Communications and Information Systems Engineering domains.

ETT has been designed to guide the MOD on the best practices for structuring and deploying future training requirements in a cost effective and efficient way. It will address approximately 2,000 training content days across 19 courses for the MOD.  This subset affects a yearly throughput of 400,000 man training days.

To date, Raytheon has successfully completed approximately half the contract milestones on time and to quality, exceeding the required efficiency of 25 per cent improvement in technical training content length.
